For years I've thought about creating a site so all the ex-DSWites could reconnect, but it was one of those "Let's Get Back In Touch" emails from LinkedIn that gave me the incentive to act on it.
Take a moment, say "hey" to the group, and forward out to any of the ex-DSWites.

Great idea. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of DSW. Don't think we appreciated how great it was until we moved on to other agencies. John, Jon, and Darrell created a very special agency that created some great advertising work.
Excellent organization Shawn! How is the M&M guy - is he still trvelling the world?
The best part about DSW was the people. An excellent group.
I am still in SLC, Channel Director for Premiere Global Services, an ATL based conferencing company.
Brian and I have two kids; Connor 8 and Audrey 4. Life is grand. Happy Holidays all!
Hello all! The M&M guy now lives in Draper, on a cozy little shelf in my office. :)
While my days at DSW seem like a lifetime ago, I miss many of the friends that I made there! And I am so happy that I still keep in touch with a few of the most important!
Still not sure how Jennifer ended up with the M&M guy.
jennifer ..... which one?
I can honestly say I was not surprised to get Cruise Director Julie's email!! Funny, lately I've been thinking that it's been 10.5 years since I moved out here, and was introduced to this crazy group!! I've been wondering what eveyone's been doing. My how things change....in addition to Alan's girls (16, 15 and 10!!), we have a 20 month old son, Wolfgang (Wolf). I just started my own staffing agency (literally, 3 weeks ago). It's fun to see everyone's comments and the memories it brings back!
Yes. DSW was great. Learned about life and love, friendship and hard work!
Mark & I have two kids. Mya is 4, Robby is 18 months. I have a media consulting business and Mark works for McCann in SLC.
DSW launched the careers of so many agency and marketing folks. Thanks D, S & W.
If anyone needs a free corndog and lemonade you can reach me at steve.winchester@datamark.com. I am still celebrating Corndog Days every April--although with very few people. Righ now I am sitting in a meeting next to Kim Bellomy. I am at Datamark with the second largest contingent of ex-DSWites (McCann being first.)
In answer to the question about which Jennifer.... jennifer Streiff (used to be Harris). :)
So fun to hear from everyone!
I have pictures of the talented Mr. Winchester in a red, blue and yellow Hot Dog On A Stick uniform.
Sadly it wasn't while he was at work -- more of a private moment with the Mrs... I just happened to be in his neighborhood with an extension ladder and a camera.
Thanks Shawn for getting us organized.
I have looked for DSW people on linked in and not seen anyone. Do you use DSW? Do you use Euro RSCG/DSW? I wasn't sure what to put on the listing to get a match but nothing seemed to be working. Send me your emails and I send out some LinkedIn invitations to get it started.
As for me, I'm working at a foundation in SF that hooks up people with your kinds of skills to do Pro Bono work for other nonprofits. If you are in NY, Chicago, SF or Seattle, you should volunteer for us

No kids (phew), but still married to Ken and I have a very handsome Austrian Shepard.

Carol - If you ever have need of people in SLC, please let me know! I love doing that type of work!
In linked-in I used EURO RSCG DSW Partners, I think. Haha! I've got Shawn and Lipsey on my list.
Later!

Shawn, this is great. Thanks for all of the work.
DSW was the place that spoiled us all. John, Jon, and Darrell, the people that you brought together have become some of my closest friends. You made work fun!
Other things I learned at DSW
A bowling ball will only bounce about 6 inches if dropped off the the top of the crain bldg.
Always invite the P.A's to your parties. They keep things young and fun.
Any agency that lets Sabatine and I make a nativity with Sloyer as the baby Jesus must be pretty cool.
I'm down in Austin Texas with the cruise director. I have been in Austin for 8 years. I have been maried for 2 years now. No kids yet, just dogs.
Just discovered a web site called the Way Back Machine (www.web.archive.org). It archives old web pages. Here is a link to the DSW web site from 1998:

Wow. This is so cool. Great to hear from all of you. DSW was amazing for me also. You were the best people I've ever worked with, or ever will work with. Good times, great memories. With all of our efforts we put together a unique agency....a great agency. Thank you all.
I'm in SLC taking care of my daughter Jessi as her MS progresses.
I miss the DSW days and miss all of you. Glad so many of you remember all the good times. It was one hell of a fun ride.
Sending you all my best, and remember...still go and have fun... and Do Something Wild.
Whoa. The Pirate speaks! Good to hear from you, John. Personal thanks to you, S&W (and Dave too) for the opportunity.
