Dave Rowe pointed out that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the founding of DSW.
This might be a good time to create our list of 20 Best Memories at DSW.

Ok, in order to meet Shawn's organizational needs...
My favorite memory would be stealing Lipsey's door...
While Lipsey's Door is near the top of the list, the Incredible Universe party was certainly memorable.
That party was memorable in many ways... good and bad! Haha!
I'm going with the M&M world tour... ok, maybe it was just the Western US.
And yes, Shawn, when i finish unpacking my office i will make you copies. :)
That was a damn fine door & I miss it. Cubicles suck ass.
I'm still dining out on the Lipsey Door story. And I didn't even do the prank. Dave- I hope that you are more relaxed now.
But there are a few other stories that I find myself telling again and again:
There was that whole flurry of activity surrounding the arrival of Harrison Ford in the office. Harrison is on my celebrity fuck list so I myself was quite starstruck.
Harrison part I-Cindy F was so infatuated that she saved his 1/2 eaten sandwich for a few weeks.
Harrison part II- Eric White stole squares of toilet paper from Harrison's Jackson Hole house as mementos of the meeting.
Sabatine's pimp car- remember the purple pimp car? It had the remote starter so that you could start the car as you were running toward it and away from the cops? As I recall, there was also a dead body in the trunk.
FAC parties- as I recall, LOTS of booze and a not insigificant amount of pot
I also have fond recollections of the following:
* Jeff's award winning severed finger cake
* Eric/Blain/Travis sharing a toothbrush and then spitting into and then drinking from the same spit cup (#1 winner at the Halloween party)
* BBQs on the deck
* Stories of people getting busted having sex in the office
* The Stress cup replete with: mini of tequila, razor blades, antacid, advil, prescription pain medication.
* The nepotism- how can we forget all of the Nybos, Schroaders, White's and Misty's past, present and future husbands
* Speaking of ex husbands and girlfriends, you could do a whole chapter on Scott.
I worked there from '89 until '97. I could go on and on. I will be sure to forward this URL to some of my older contacts.
Nice! Leave it to Carol to spark all those memories.....FAC and signing film at Twilight....and the Sex in Offices is an entire chain on it's own......speaking of which, anyone got Holly's email. ;-)
This was before my time, but was always one of the favorite DSW folk legends. Our PR person (pre-Jennifer) had a license plate saying "HOT PR." Someone altered the R to look like a P.
Funny you should mention PR because that ties into one of the sex stories.
I have Holly's email, I'll forward this URL to her. I also have email for a bunch of other oldie moldies. I'll forward to them as well.
Dave - I feel your pain on the cubicle... what I wouldn't give for your door!
Speaking of inappropriate relations in the office, I will never forget the day I came into a note on my desk informing me that someone had "done it" in my chair.
Hygienic!
Hello, all.
Misty, I still have the vest you picked out for me in NY. Still wear it at Christmas time with fond memories.
Best memory . . . Boede saying one morning my first month, "Dude, you are doing your stock no f-ing good to be talking to me before my coffee."
